Who am I ???

Hello folks I’m Jesin. I’m a computer applications graduate and live in Chennai, India. I hold certifications in RHCE, MCTS (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Network infrastructure, Applications infrastructure) and CCNA. I’ve loads of passion on Linux, networking and hardware, now don’t ask me why I have certifications in Microsoft, it just happened.

My journey on computers started with gaming (Wolfenstein 3D) so it continues. I still love PC gaming and some of my favorites are Hitman: Blood Money, Doom 3, Half Life 2 and the entire Call of Duty Series. I get my monthly dose of technology from the magazine Digit. Web designing is another hobby which is why you see articles on a mixture of topics in this blog.

My interest in blogging started a year ago, I wanted to share with the world things I learnt and will learn in computers. Jesin’s Blog was started on 19th July 2010 with the first article on Services of VMware Player. Since then I’ve written articles on a wide range of topics like Linux, Windows, domains, networking, PHP, web design to name a few. This blog also features a toolbox consisting of useful tools like DNS Lookup Tool, HTTP Headers Lookup Tool, .htpasswd Generator Tool, .htdigest Generator Tool, MD5 Encryption Tool, Open Port Check Tool, SHA-1 Encryption Tool, URL Encoding/Decoding Tool.
